Playing with my photos....

From every side I hear how important photos are in online business. Many successful artists swear  that a good picture is a number one priority in process of selling handmade stuff online. Am I surprised to hear it? NO! I can see how it works on me. I don't have time to click on 'everything'. Firstly, I look around and then I click on what I like.
I am always  attracted to photos which look 'old '. I especially fancy those ones with bright colors and vintage look.
I thought that the problem, why all  my photos are so plain,is my camera. I recently found out that some cell phones can add polaroid effect to photos and make them sort of bluish and old looking. My camera is really good, do not take me wrong...but it doesn't have any 'polaroid vintage effect' adding  button. So I started to look for a new camera  when I found out that my problem can be solved much quicker and I don't have to spend a penny.There are many programmes which can easily do that and on top off it- most of them are free.So I downloaded one of them and for another hour or two I was playing with few of my photos.
It's kind of late now and I might change my mind tomorrow  about how much I like my  new photos. Anyway, at this moment I am totally satisfied with what I got and I would like to share with my happiness on my blog(However, I am not too excited about the orange frame I added on my second picture . It wasn't the best idea but I am not going to change it  now. I will do it later with fresh mind. Hope, it won't bother you too much.). So here they are:

Busy Week

I have been kind of busy lately. I don't know how but it's Saturday again. Because I had to work this week, I didn't have lot of free time for my journals. However, I did manage few of them. For some reason I did fall in love with 'glue' or maybe I should call it a medium which I love to apply on top of my drawings. The whole process of creating a journal with a picture covered with glue is kind of looooong but I wouldn't change it. It is somehow unique.

These are some of my drawings ready to be put on top of a journal as a cover illustration. Some of them are used, the rest is still waiting but to be honest with you- I am not sure if I use all of them. I can get bored easily....

This is my last journal. I finished it yesterday and I can still feel it in my fingers. I am not sure if my note( 'for someone with snowflakes in his hearts') makes any sence but I like it anyway. Fingers crossed...

These two journals are my favorite. I almost wish to keep them...

I did some new sketches and hopefuly I will find some spare time today to make them a part of my journals.

Oh,I almost forgot to mention that I made my decision about 'my future'. I am going to take a risk and try to make my dreams come true. I am excited but deep inside I am freaking out.

December 4th

I have been working for hours to make my 'blog' look the way I like it. Not sure if I am fully satisfied with the result but hey, this is my first day as a blogger on www.blogger.com. I am so sorry but I am not going to write a blog now cos my legs hurt me(they need to be streched after all the sitting). I only want to welcome everybody on my blog-page !

Nie som si ista, v ktorom jazyku mam pisat blog. Samozrejme, bolo by omnoho jednoduchsie pisat v mojom rodnom jazyku, ale ktohovie do buducna, co je vyhodnejsie. Beztak, ani v jednom jazyku dnes pisat blog nebudem. Moje kolena ma uz prilis bolia a ak sa nezacnem okamzite hybat, tak neviem neviem. Takze vitam kazdeho ,hocikoho, v mojom blogu!
